Kashvi Sethuraman

Research Assistant

I am a second-year master’s student in the Biomedical Research Technologies program, where I have been actively involved in various projects over the past year. My thesis focuses on Angiopoietin-4, a novel member of the angiopoietin family, and its regulation of pro-thrombotic factors as well as its role in cancer-associated venous thrombosis in a colon cancer mouse model. While my broad research experiences have shaped my skills, working on this project has been particularly instrumental in deepening my interest in molecular biology and translational research.

My aim is to expand my research expertise in molecular medicine and contribute to impactful studies. In the future, I would love to pursue a PhD to further investigate molecular pathways and therapeutic targets, ultimately addressing critical challenges in cancer biology and thrombosis.
